In this video, The Angry Video Game Nerd reviews “Top Gun” for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The Nerd seems to have come back to the mainstream in this review, as Top Gun sold quite well in the NES days, unlike his previous review of Master Chu and the Drunkard Hu. Anyway, I am a big fan of the Top Gun movie, but don’t intend on buying this iteration any time soon.

Contra, released as Gryzor in Europe and Oceania, is an arcade game released in 1987 by the Konami corporation.
The player controls a commando who battles waves of enemies including humans, machines, mutants and aliens to reach his ultimate goal.
Watch as some guy beats the game in just 8 minutes.

After watching this old commercial, you’ll hate the dog in Duck Hunt even more.
The commercial is for the NES that challenges you to buy the system and beat their games.
