sudo rm -rfPeople who have experience with Linux knows that the command ‘rm’ deletes a particular file. The flags ‘r’ removes directories and the flag ‘f’ ignores non-existent files and overrides any confirmation prompts (’force’). ‘Sudo’ is a program that allows a user to execute commands with security privileges. The ‘/’ means to remove everything from the base of the mounted filesystem.

Basically, that wall of text above means that running command ’sudo rm -rf /’ would cause the contents of every writable mounted filesystem on the computer to be deleted.
