Integra Scan is a website that will instantly give you everything you need to know about a person. Of course, this comes at a price. At Integra Scan, you have 3 levels of records that you can retrieve on a person, each with their own price.

At the $18.95, you will receive a record of all the crimes that a person has committed in a given state. However, if that person has committed a crime outside of that state, then it will not show up. Here’s an example of what you will receive.

The $28.95 tier will give you access to a nationwide criminal background check. If you are an employer, and you’re recruiting entry level employees who will NOT be dealing with company cash, then Integra Scan recommends this option. Here’s an example of what you will receive.

The $49.95 tier is the grand daddy of them all, and it’s their best value for your criminal record search. This will return A LOT of information including their address history (up to 20 years), relatives, roommates, list of neighbors and associates, their businesses, whether or not they have a pilot’s license, and a bunch more. Of course, I’m not going to purchase a sample for the sake of this review, but you can get a general idea of what you might get with each one. For kicks and giggles, I entered in my information at the home page (sans social security number), and it returned a bunch of records, including my own after searching for about a minute.

Exploring the site more, I found that they also offer tools that can a person’s phone number given their name and address, the address of the person given their cell phone or home phone (searching with their cell phone doesn’t work as well as home phone), which phone numbers are associated with a given address, and a person’s current phone number given their old one. I was not able to try all of these because you can only search a limited number of times per day until they block you.

Anyways, if you’re an employer who’s recruiting* or anyone who’s curious, then you should definitely check out this website!

Passwords are a pain in the butt. If you have an easy password, it will be easier to remember (obviously), and chances are that one of your accounts online will get hacked into sometime in the future. If you have a hard password, your accounts will be more secure, but you run the risk of forgetting your password should you not log into your accounts for some time.

I think with today’s world (everything being online and all), it’s a lot better for you to have a long and complicated password. Sure, it’s riskier that way, but your data will be safe. What happens if you forget your password for whatever reason (simply forget, you lost the piece of paper that contains the password)? If you lost a password to an online account, you could probably try to recover it yourself by answering some security questions. But what if the password is to something offline, like an Excel worksheet?

Excel doesn’t ask you to set up any security questions or provide any password recovery methods of any kind when you encrypt a file. If you lose the password, your worksheet will be gone forever. So is there a way to recover your password?

The answer is YES! Excel Password Recovery is a program that will try to recover your password. The recovery process is pretty easy and painless. You simply feed it the encrypted file, give it some information about your password (length, certain characters), and it’ll do the rest either by trying brute force or a dictionary attack.

This program will work best if your password is simple, but it could crack more complicated passwords as well.
