I have recently seen on GameSpy.com, a list of the hardest songs on Guitar Hero 2. Some of these songs I did not agree with and decided to make a 20 song count down on guitar hero 2

20)  Freya - For some reason, this took me a while to beat with the hammer ons in the solo etc.

19) Bad Reputation - The solos in this song are unbeliveable. Nuff said

18) Beast and The Harlot - Even though this didn’t need to be in the 8th tier, its still a hard song

17) Trippin on a Hole in a Paper Heart - This song is nearly built of chords and has a hard solo

16) MadHouse - Although a fun song, it has it’s hard parts

15) Arterial Black - This song packs a solo that you will not pass unless you practice it.

14) Jessica - This is easy at the beginnining but goes into a series of solos you don’t want to see

13) Thunderhorse - This song took me a while to beat. Got the message

12) Crazy on You - Just try the solo at the beginning

11) Laid to Rest - Even though an easy song to beat, a song that murders your fingers

10) YYZ - This song has a fast solo that you MAY fail, somewhat I only get into flaming red, but still pass

9) Carry Me Home - Should be in the 8th tier

8) Six - A hard intro, verse etc.

7) Psychobilly Freakout - Should be in the 8th tier

6) Rock This Town - How’d this get only on the 6′th tier should be AT LEAST on the seventh

5) The Light That Blinds - Don’t let the intro fool you

4) Tie!! - Institutionalized/Misirlou - Hard verses and a fast chorus, comin right up/Make sure your wrist is ready. It may die.

3) Hanger 18 - The 2 solos at the beginning are nothing, wait until the last few solos to use your star power

2) Free Bird - just try gtr. solo c,d,i

1) Jordan - It ISN’T FAIR!!!!!

the day the office meltedSet in a comic book style world, you play as Mr. Heatbuster.

Using your mouse to click on various objects, you must cool items down to stop your arch enemy Ms. Dee Hydration from melting the office. Click on a heated object and a pulsing target will appear. Click again when it pulses near the centre to cool it down.

Can you foil Ms. Dee Hydration’s dastardly plot, can you survive the day the office melted?

Another game update. Yay! This time, I’m only using two games since I don’t really like the rest.

  1. More Bloons

    Author: Ninja Kiwi

Yes, this is the sequel to Bloons that distracted me from my studies last time. In case you haven’t played Bloons, it is an archery-like game where your job is to take out a certain number of balloons using a certain number of arrows. There are 50 levels in all, and they get harder as you advance. This means that you have to start thinking outside the box in order to beat the higher levels. The difference between Bloons and More Bloons is not much. The only change I’ve noticed is that there are more levels that expect you to clear 100% of the balloons. These include Sharpshooter, Mining, and a bunch that I can’t name right now.

I’ve beaten Bloons, and I am in the process of finishing More Bloons. Tin Box is killing me right now (level 46).

  2. Dress Up Barack

    Author: Addicting Games

So why Barack and not McCain? Because you don’t want to see a bald, old man in his underwear. For those wondering, you do not get to see Barack naked. Instead, you can give him an afro, put a Strongbad helmet on, bling him up, or even make him wear a purple hoodie with “Juicy” written across it.

Of course, this is not really a game because there is no objective or points. If you don’t like Barack, you can dress up Hillary. Whatever floats your boat.

It’s time again for this week’s game update where I post some of my favorites in the weekly batch of games. Let’s get started.

  1. Desktop Tower Defense

    Author: Paul Preece

The object of the game is simple: don’t let the enemies reach the other side. In order to do this, you have to build towers to shoot them down before they get there. The towers that you can buy vary. Some shoot faster than others. Others have a wider shooting range than some. The better the towers, the more expensive they are. There are 5 levels to choose from: easy, medium, hard, challenge, and fun. There’s also a high score list, but you have to play at medium or higher. Having a hard time thinking of how to place your towers? Check out the Player Mazes section on Paul’s site that lists the mazes for the last 20 players who submitted a score.

As for me, I’ve beated easy several times, and I’ve averaged around 5700 only losing 2 lives. I’ve only beaten normal once.

  2. IndestructoTank

    Author: The-EXP

For some reason, this game is not getting as many views as it should. Hopefully, this post will change that. Basically, you have to destroy as many airplanes as you can using your tank. As the title says, your tank is indestructable. You have no other weapons but yourself. To destroy the enemy’s planes, position yourself so that you’re hit by a bullet. This will launch you up in the air where you will be able to control yourself and hit more planes. Hit as many planes as you can without hitting the ground. The more you hit, the more experience points you earn. You can use your experience points to buy more enemy planes (more for you to hit). Once you’ve bought the maximum number of planes (10 of each), your last mission to get get on the high score list.

Personally, I think that you should only play this game only if you’ve got nothing to do for the rest of the day (which explains the low play count) because getting on the high score list probably takes a long ass time. My best was 40,000-ish experience points and 39 combos.

  3. Top Figures

    Author: Gamez Hero

Who doesn’t love a game with friendly graphics? Your job in this game is to be as cruel to the little boy as possible without killing him. Get rid of as many bars supporting him as you can without dropping him into the water. You can easily beat this game because you have the option the go to the next level once you get rid of one bar.

My best: level 14, score: somewhere in the 10,000s

I’ve just started a new category on Sangent called Games Updates.

If you come to my site regularly to play the 1960 games (as of now), you know that each week, I add 20 new games, but they usually don’t get any recognition besides being at the top of the games archive. From now on, I’ll be posting more in-depth descriptions for some of the new games that I find interesting.

Instead of adding 20 games this week, I added 21. That’s because of one the games, Burger Time, had to be removed since it shared the name with the 1982 Japanese arcade game created by Data East Corporation.

  1. Bloons

    Author: Ninja Kiwi

This game is my anti-homework/studying for now. The object of the game is to pop the number of balloons specified at the bottom. Move the mouse to get the right angle, hold it down to increase power, then release whenever you feel is right. There are 50 levels in all, and for me, it gets hard around level 30. Right now, I’m on 31 44. Can you beat me? I just beat the game. Can you do it, too?

  2. Civil

    Author: Kurtis Rainford

Remember good ol’ Hangman you used to play with your friends as a kid? It just got a makeover…a bloodier and darker makeover. Instead of slowly growing body parts, you’re slowing being killed/tortured by a weapon that you pick. Oh, did I mention it’s freakin’ hard to guess the words? Good luck!

  3. PLANned

    Author: Wouter Visser

You’re showned grid with several squares placed at different places. Your job is to make all the squares connect. You can click on a square to make it grow, but you can only do it 3 times (but not consecutively). There are 18 levels in all, but I’ve only managed to get to level 4. It’s much more addictive than it sounds, which is why I’m reviewing it.

  4. Other games this week include Ant Move, BotArena III, Break In, Cosmo Jet, Crusader Tank, Cursor #1, Derecho: The Doom Bringer, Fishing La La La, Fl Tron 2.0, Forest Brat, Madness Reaction Time, Orbital, Perfectus Volatus, Puzzle Freak, Shock Defence, Sightseeing! Gimme 5, Spin Soar, and Spin Swim
