As many of you may have already heard, at approximately 7:15AM this morning, a lone gunman entered Virgina Tech and shot 51 people. At this time the Associated Press has reported that 32 people (plus the gunman) have been killed with another 29 wounded.
I ask that you all keep these people on your mind as you go about your day. My thoughts go out to the families of those killed in this terrible, terrible tragedy.
For more information, CNN is covering the story in detail.

A newlywed wife suspects that her husband is cheating on her, so she calls in a 104.7 KISS FM to help.
The DJ calls the husband and convinces him that he just won two tickets to a Beyoncé concert (his favorite artist). When asked who he would like to deliver the 2nd ticket to, he chooses someone NOT his wife.
Hilarity ensues.

The people in this story are real. Their names have been disguised to protect their identity. Here is their story.
December 22nd, 2006 - 12:15pm
Me and my friends were planning on leaving for the second half of school, since we figured that the dance that afternoon was going to be a drag. Darell’s dad was going to be picking us up at 1:15pm, right after lunch. One of my friend’s, Brian, forgot to get written permission, so when the lunch bell rang, we began the 15 minute walk to get to his mother’s work to get the permission needed.
December 22nd, 2006 - 12:30pm
We arrived at the workplace and Brian went inside to get the note. Darell, Gordon and I waited outside for him to return. Darell and Gordon began talking and I turned to look around when I saw an unmarked police car driving slowly towards us. He pulled to within about 10 feet before coming to a stop and getting out of his car. He called Gordon towards him.

Today’s link of the day sums up stuff that happened in 2006 in 99 pictures.
Some of the things on the list includes a giant rubberband ball, giant KFC logo, the three armed baby, and more (click more to start from the beginning).
I’m posting this because it seems interesting…and so that I can come back to read it later.
