While Morgan is having an asthma attack in the basement after the aliens invade, and Graham is holding him, Morgan’s hair appears to be very dark, or black, and appears to have a different cut or style… When they show him laying down a little while later his hair is back to blonde.

As Officer Paski walks back to her cruiser, her ballpoint pen shifts from being clipped on the outside of her shirt pocket to being fully inside.

Uncle Merrill disappears from the end of the table when Morgan is talking to the sheriff.

The man on the ARMY poster in the recruiting office is wearing a US MARINE Corps uniform.

When Graham is at Reddy’s house, Reddy speeds away in his truck the camera is reflected in the window.

Merril comes out of his apartment heading towards Graham’s house carrying a couple of white cloth bags in his right hand. He stops to look into the cornfield and (with the help of a simple camera angle change) he drops his load from his left hand.

When they are showing the lights over Mexico City, the news commentator said that they were first seen by a pilot on an AeroMexico 747 from Mazatlan to New York. Aero Mexico doesn’t have a flight from Mazatlan to New York.

One of the dogs has a little accident in the kitchen. Mel Gibson grabs paper towels to clean up the mess. He wipes it up and balls up the paper towels. A police officer arrives and Mel walks to her (dirty towels in hand). When the shot cuts to the two of them talking, Mel is now wearing a big glove on one hand, but he never stopped to put a glove on before proceeding to clean up.

Just after the boy has killed the dog, Mel Gibson goes over to the little girl to carry her into the house. As he picks her up, you can see one of her left shoelace is hanging undone. Then the shot cuts to Mel carrying her, and now her shoelace is tied into a nice bow.

During the “last supper” sequence if you watch the daughter’s plate of spaghetti it goes from being a full plate of spaghetti to a half eaten plate of spaghetti then back to a full plate of spaghetti even though she never takes a bite of her food and no one leaves the table to get her a second helping.

When we see Graham Hess (Mel Gibson) in the bathroom he is brushing his teeth. Graham then hears Bo screaming, and he runs out of the bathroom barefoot, but when he gets to Bo seconds later he has shoes on.

At the end, we discover that water has the same effect as a powerful acid on the aliens. Notwithstanding the unusual biochemistry which would be necessary for this, isn’t our atmosphere filled with water vapour? If water has this effect, wouldn’t the aliens have collapsed with horrible burns right after stepping out of their spaceships?

When Uncle Merrill first moves the TV into the closet, he needs extension cords to plug it in (this is how Graham finds him). However, at the end of the movie, Graham unplugs the TV from inside the closet, and there are no extension cords.

The corn field is at peak height, yet Graham is seen in a winter jacket.

When the guards go into the cave to find The Rock, and after the guy says “stay on the rocks” they show the feet walking along the rocks. One of the guys is clearly wearing white laces in his shoes. The other is wearing leather laces.

When the Scorpion King kills warriors with his sword (the cave with the quicksand is a good example), there is absolutely not a trace of blood on his sword. His sword gets raised above his head looking like it’s just been polished.

Towards the end of the film, when the Rock walks into the rebel camp, you can clearly see a camera man in a white t-shirt and black cap. You see him crawling towards the Scorpion King.

When the Rock pulls the arrow out of his back there is no blood on it.

All swords in this movie are made from steel, and in the beginning it’s said that the film takes place years before the Pyramids were built (they were built around 3200 BC). Steel wouldn’t have been around for thousands of years.

One of the first times you see Balthazar (Michael Clarke Duncan) you can clearly see the adhesive for the fake scar on his right cheek and that it is coming loose.

When The Rock falls down the water hole with the sorceror he drops his sword. But when he is fighting with the king’s army he has the exact same sword. How did he get his sword back?

After the chief of the army (Ralf Moeller) is killed, he reappears as a guard, walking down the palace-stairs with another guard and is only disguised with a artificial, cheap, black mustache on his face.

Near the beginning when he shoots the arrow and goes down a zipwire you can clearly see the wheel under the chain, also the chain is not bending as he goes down.

When there are in the desert and the bad guys go into a cave, the angle changes and you see two sets of rocks, then several men fall into quicksand. When their leader “says stay on the rocks” the shot changes, and more sets of rocks appear.

When the Rock is launched out of the catapult, he is shot out of the window and lands in another room in the castle. A few shots later, the catapult is shown again but it is in the cocked position. The scientist was busy with his gunpowder and avoiding the guards - he wouldn’t have re-set it, surely?

After Matathyus (The Rock) finishes fighting with Balthazar (Michael Clarke Duncan), Balthazar is sort of sitting down while Matathyus is standing. You see blood all over Balthazar’s mouth. Then the shot goes back and forth between Matathyus and Balthazar three times. Each time there’s not the same amount of blood in Balthazar’s mouth.

In the very beginning of the movie, when Mathayus rescues Jesup, he fires several arrows at Jesup’s would-be executioners, and the targets of these arrows fly backward, across the room, and smash out the side of the building. I don’t think I need to go into a detailed discussion of physics on this.

Watch them run through long grass. Look in the grass… The Hobbits are wearing shoes! But throughout the rest of the movie, they’re barefoot.

When Gandalf and Saruman are talking at one point Gandalf is holding his staff and he has a leather strap around his finger, then it cuts to Saruman then when it cuts back to Gandalf the strap is gone.

After the battle with the cave troll, Aragorn rushes over to the injured Frodo and brushes past some large rocks which wobble, showing that they are clearly lightweight and not real.

The hobbit guys are smaller than the rest of the characters. Fine. But in some scenes, it’s obvious that they used either children or little people to complete the effect. In one scene, Bilbo shakes hands with Gandalf and you can see Gandalf’s larger hands are fake.

In some scenes Frodo has a zit, and in some scenes he doesn’t. When the fellowship is rowing down river Anduin, you can clearly see Frodo’s got a spot on his chin covered with makeup. When they row ashore, it’s gone.

When Frodo is taken to Rivendell, he is lying in bed with Gandalf sitting next to the bed watching over him. When Frodo is just waking up and starts to lean up, you can clearly see the ring on the chain. The camera switches to Gandalf, and then back to Frodo, but the ring and chain are gone. All you see is the bandage.

Some where in the scenes when the ugly pig people are attacking everyone in the forest… Legolas shots an arrow and then goes for another one, but he can’t reach it! It cuts to the next scene very quickly so you have to watch closely.

When a meeting is held in Rivendell and the ring is placed in the center, the dwarf gets up and hits the ring with his axe, breaking his axe into pieces on the table in the center. Then the broken axe pieces disappear. But then suddenly, they reappear!

When Aragorn bows over the dying Boromir there’s a pretty clear goof you can see for several times. When the shot is from behind Aragorn, Boromir has his hand on Aragorn’s shoulder, when you see them from the side, Boromir’s right hand is lying flat down on the ground.

In the shots just before Frodo tries to leave by himself for Mordor the tears on his face swap sides for no reason.

First Harry is shown sitting next to Ron at the table, then later when the food arrives at the table, Harry is now sitting next to Hermione.

Before Hermione is placed on the chess board, she’s wearing white stockings. When she is on the chessboard, she doesn’t have any stockings. Then in the next scene she has them back on.

After Harry removes the invisibility cloak in front of the mirror, it is nowhere to be seen even though it is supposed to be visible when not worn.

Harry escapes the restricted library followed by a cat, but once he finds the professor the cat disappears.

When Dumbledore looks at the mirror of Erised, the door should be on his right but there is just a wall.

Inside the restricted library, Harry rests a lantern in front of himself to read but the shadow is cast as though the light is behind him.

After the kids have seen Fluffy and return to their dorms, Hermoine goes left, when earlier her dorm was on the right.

After the final confrontation, Harry has a scratched chin. When Dumbledore visits the scratch is gone but then comes back in the refectory even bigger.

The troll who wrecks the girls toilets seems to smash the same line of cubicles twice.

In the Hogwarts Express when Ron and Harry are introducing each other the camera is on Ron then switches to Harry then back to Ron. In the first shot of Ron his hair is parted in the middle, but in the second shot his hair is parted on the side.

When Hermione is first shown on the Hogwarts Express, she is wearing blue stockings under her knee high socks, but then when they get off the train she isn’t.

Whenever Harry comes up with the idea that Hagrid was probably tricked into telling Quirell about how to get past Fluffy, Harry is talking and the whole time Hermione is mouthing Harry’s lines.

Harry’s eyes are blue but they’re supposed to be green.

In the book, Hermoine tells Hagrid he can’t keep a fire breathing dragon in his cottage. It’s made of wood. But in the movie, Hagrid’s cottage is built of stone.

During the Quidditch match, look at the Slytherine team. The Keeper is a girl. In one of the books it says there where only boys on the Slytherine team, no girls.
