This is the coolest thing that I’ve seen all week.
Basically, it’s a machine that generates beats with ball bearings. A laser sweeps through after every certain seconds, and if there’s a ball there, then it makes either a beat, snare, hi hat, or cowbell sound.

Sharper Image actually makes something similar to that except that it has 6 lasers and hooks up to a computer.
