denver museum of nature and scienceBetween this video and the XBox prank video, I don’t know which one makes me angrier.

This video is about the Denver Museum of Nature and Science in which the tour guides insist on teaching creationism. They claim that the earth is only 6000 – 10000 years old, despite the fact that there is a display in the museum which explains how and why radiometric dating is so accurate and credible.

Personally, I don’t care what your religion is, but if you outright deny the theory of evolution which has numerous pieces of evidence to back it up, you probably shouldn’t be ruining innocent children’s minds.

Charlie Clark says:

I know someone will disagree with me but I have listened to several of Bill Jack’s information prior to this video and he is credible. His pointing out of artwork instead of evidence. You won’t find much about him on the internet though, but you can buy a video with him in it called “Breaking Down Strongholds” by AIG. I do particularly like how ABC shows his information in a negative light and won’t really show how he disputes evolution, just that he does.

Charlie Clark says:

Oh, and Radiometric Dating isn’t quite what people make it out to be. http://www.specialtyinterests.net/carbon14.html

FireDamagedGod says:

That link is dead charlie clark.
And I think it doesnt matter which one is true, the kids should decide for themselves.

Furry says:

hes not ruining innocent minds by saying what he believes in and giving them the chance to decide instead of only having one option available option

Furry says:

GOD WAS IDIOT, jesus was just his sun… i hate christians that are idiots, i take back what i said before, this guy is an idiot, and shouldnt be teaching kids

Charlie Clark says:

The link wasn’t dead, but if it is on your computer just type radiometric dating into google and look for it. And btw furry, i love how you said a kid should be able to choose what he believes until it is about Christians, then its wrong.

awommy says:

yea…those guys are pretty extreme. And if you think about it, most of what is said through the video could be said right back to the other person (depending on who said it). Just and interesting tidbit if you watch it again to take into consideration.

Jaedon says:

Ok.. I don’t like it but if they want to force that archaic teaching on minds are too young to understand it then they should at least be giving an unbiased observation on Creationalism, not saying it the way that ‘guide’ did which sounded more like he was trying to brainwash them.

Ideal world I’d say it not be allowed to teach religion to people untill they’re adult then let them decide rather than having their parent’s or whoever’s beliefs nailed into their heads.

Matt says:

First of all,Charlie Clark needs to shut up.Why? Well, archaeologists don’t use Carbon 14 dating to find the age of every fossil found. They use it for things between 150 and 6,000 years old, like bones and pottery.
Here’s a few videos that explain the method thoroughly:

Although it’s bad enough your getting your info from AiG (By the way, there are no answers in Genesis!) ,I hope you don’t watch any of convicted fraudster Kent Hovind’s videos. That a serious problem because he lies, uses countless fallacies and just cherry picks the Bible to make his YEC view of the world fit to him and his severely misinformed followers. Please,PLEASE do research from a website that doesn’t think bats are birds and Satan is the cause of mental Illness and not chemical imbalances in the brain.I suggest http://www.talkorigins.com.

Now with that out of the way,
“Personally, I don’t care what your religion is, but if you outright deny the theory of evolution which has numerous pieces of evidence to back it up, you probably shouldn’t be ruining innocent children’s minds.”

YEAH!, High five Sang!

TheBat says:

This was worse than the xbox video in my opinion. However, what many people don’t realize about the xbox video is that that child did in fact, receive and xbox for Christmas. His family played that trick on him because his mother caught him peaking in on present wrapping.
