The hustlers buy a cheap ring, ‘lose’ it at a bar, and then manage to scam a good-samaritan barman into buying it back from a pair of ‘customers’ who have ‘found’ it.
This is also the first scam that involved them using an ‘accomplice’ who’s not Paul, Alex, or Jess.
