Fun fact: Thai men say “kup” after many sentences during conversation, and Thai women say “kah.” The guy uses both in the commercial depending on what sex he’s pretending to be.

This scam may have a cool name, but if you’re the one getting robbed, it definitely isn’t cool.
In public, people usually identify where valuables are on their bodies by patting themselves in particular locations. This makes it really easy for scammers to bump into you, get your stuff, then leave.

I should really post this video towards final exam time, but since I probably won’t remember, I’m posting it now.
Learn how to make a cheat sheet that you can stick on any surface, including pencils, and water bottles. All you need are paper, tape, and information you probably won’t ever need in real life.

This particular scam, the “shop phone call scam,” is somewhere similar to the “hotel courier con” in that the scammer gets a shop/hotel to pay a heft sum for a completely rubbish parcel.
Watch as one of the hustlers convinces shops to pay for some package, in cash, with the boss’s permission.
