In this video, some guy shows you how to make an invisible folder that has no name and no icon. This may be useful if you have computer illiterate people around the house. There are probably more reasons, but I can’t think of them right now.
Here are the steps:
1) Click once on your folder to highlight it.
2) Click it again, and you should be able to rename it.
3) Hold down the Alt key and press 0160 on your numpad (on the right) side of your keyboard. Release the Alt key.
4) Now the folder has no name. Right click it -> Properties -> Customize tab -> Change Icon…
5) Choose a blank icon.
