I found a neat site that tracks how many consoles are sold.
The Nintendo Wii has now sold over 1,000,000 consoles in just 2 weeks!

Personally, I’d love to see DS/DS Lite and PSP sales get tracked much like PS3, Wii and 360 sales are now. However, I don’t see it happening because:
a)The Console War is more interesting to a majority of people than the Handheld War.
b)The DS is outselling the PSP by such a large margin, it isn’t even a fair fight anymore.

Sain is right, the PS3 is no contest for the Wii or the X-box 360. And the Master Chief isn’t some Halo n00b like you snake. sorry but you don’t see me having a name coming from a reptile. Honestly, who is the real n00b here? The Wii have lost already no-brain. Just look at it’s games so far:

Halo

Halo 3
And whole loads of other great games! Hell, just look at my post above. Another 2 MILLION COPIES. Phew glad i got that off my tongue.

I think we can pretty safely say that the Xbox 360 is set to win the console war. I’ll take this time to make my predictions for Christmas 2008:
1) Microsoft Xbox 360 - 40 million consoles sold
2) Nintendo Wii - 30 million consoles sold
3) Sony Playstation 3 - 15 million consoles sold

Ok, here’s the way I see it. The 360 is a solid system based on graphics and some decent titles,intended for more mature users. However, it has had a good year or so to build its lead. The Wii is more game oriented and the PS3 more graphical. Both are off to decent starts and should catch up to the 360 in no time. Another reason that will happen is because of the other markets besides America. America and some parts of Europe are really where the 360 is reaching, while the Wii and the PS3 are more accepted in the Japanese market. All in all, each system is unique and is intended for different groups. When all is said and done however, I do think the Wii will end up on top due to its price and the audience that it reaches. Each system has a fighting chance though, so it will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Oh get that rod out your butt MasterCheif! Can’t you just accept that all the consoles are good in their own way? Sheesh its arrogant no-nothing wannabe know-it-alls like you that really tick me off! Sure Halo 3 will increase sales, but then, so will Super Smash Bros Brawl for Wii, and things like Assassin’s Creed and Haze for PS3! Now, maybe because I have all three, means I can’t really be biased, or maybe it means that I KNOW WHAT EACH ONE IS LIKE! Maybe if someone slagged off the Xbox 360 for stupid reasons like ‘its white and has a weird name (which it doesnt)’ then maybe you could have a rant, but please shut up if you dont know what you’re on about. However thanks for supporting Xbox 360! At least you’re not a game hater.
