Like it or not, the Legend of Zelda is credited for pioneering many video game play mechanics still used to this day. Part 2 explores A Link to the Past for the SNES (hooray for diagonal movement and spin attacks!) and Link’s Awakening for the original Game Boy (hooray jumping!).

This commercial is a tad old (I believe it was released around 5 or 6 months ago), but shows a great deal about how the Wii can and will be used in the future. From conducting an orchestra, to fishing, to cooking virtual meals, the Nintendo Wii adds a new level of interactivity to video games.
In case the above wasn’t enough of a give away, I’m hoping against hope (as well as mass shortages) that I get a Wii for Christmas. I’m looking at you “Santa.”
