Like it or not, the Legend of Zelda is credited for pioneering many video game play mechanics still used to this day. Part one of the series examines the first two games in the franchise (Legend of Zelda and Zelda II for the NES) leading up to the much anticipated Twilight Princess release on Wii and GameCube.
