Aspen, Colorado. The word colorado comes from the Spanish word meaning colored. Based on the statistics, Aspen is not colored at all.
How white is white? 94.9% of the town with a little over 5000 are white.
How black is black? .44%. Not black enough so Improv Everywhere’s Agent Dunn offers a service to the very white population of Aspen, CO.
I might consider moving to Colorado or something…these people are nice.

Colorado doesn’t mean Colored, It means Red

usually, i’ll concede to your response, but this time, you’re wrong….even if you’re from argentina.
colorar in spanish means to color, so colorado (the participle of colorar) means colored.

Sorry, but you are wrong again. The word colorar doesn’t exist, the right word would be colorEar with an “e” therefore, the participle for colorear is colorEado, not colorado, thats an expresion for something too red, and i Belive the state of Colorado is a Big Red Desert, wich alone explains the use of a Spanish word commonly used instead of Red whitout the need of this big and boring Spanish class :grin:
Correct me if im wrong in my Description of Colorado Landscape

First of all RED = ROJO in Spanish. COLORADO means COLORADO in Spanish. It’s a Spanish word that takes TWO words in english to roughly translate. Which is “reddish colored”. It refer’s to the Reddish color of the sandstone in the south western part of the state were the “Four Corners” are. Look up “Colorado Plateau” on Wikipedia sometime and you’ll find out more. For the most part Colorado is Forested and High prairie grassland(which makes up over 50% of the state). They covered all this in High School in Colorado State history. That was back in the 80’s for me.
