It’s generally a good idea to dress and act appropriately for the occasion. You probably won’t get the job if you show up to an interview 2 hours late. When you go to a wedding, you’ll get looks if you wear black and yell “Why, God, why?! Why did you take her away from me?!” If you’re summoned to a DUI (driving under the influence) hearing, it’s not smart to show up drunk.
This is what James Kassab of Pennsylvania did. At 9:45 in the morning, he showed up to the courthouse with a .15 blood alcohol level, almost double the legal limit to drive in Pennsylvania.
