A student in Lower Burrell has been suspended for three days for giving Jolt chewing gum to a classmate. Lower Burrell school superintendent said that the student’s action violated the drug awareness policy because Jolt contains caffeine, a stimulant.
This same school sells drinks containing caffeine.
