So you wanna use your cell phone during class, huh? You wanna know when you get a phone call, but you can’t use vibrate because it’s a bit loud. Some students thought of an ingenious way to hear a cell phone ring in class without the teacher knowing.
They took advantage of an ultra high sound that only kids under 20 are able to hear. The sound plays on presbycusis which is that age-related hearing loss medical phenomenon.
Test yourself. See if you can hear the sound. Remember, the sound is ultra-high.
