The Dershem family has been kicked out of a Des Moines buffet restaurant for wasting food, but you can’t really blame them.
Wendy Dershem says that she has kids, and they don’t always finish eating.
According to the cashier Lin Huyen, “they just take one bite and throw it away.”
Too bad the Dershem family can’t sue the restaurant because there was no racial discrimination or health issue involved. Maybe they can use Heart of Atlanta Motel v. United States?
