The country’s Industrial Relations Commission has given the strippers’ union new rights. Striptease Artists Australia has won overtime pay, meal breaks and maternity leave for its members. Union spokeswoman Mystical Melody said the issue of maternity leave is important to pregnant strippers. She said they need to know they’ll have jobs to come back to after they have their babies.
