When you’re in a bathroom, hotel, or changing room, how do you know that you’re not behind a two-way mirror? You know, those mirrors that you see on cop shows in the interrogation room where you can’t see them, but they can see you? You don’t. Here’s an easy way to find out how:

Right before you’re stripping, put your fingertip against the reflective surface of the mirror, and if there is a gap between your fingernail and the image of the fingernail, then the mirror is NOT a two-way mirror. You’re safe. Go ahead and get naked for the mirror. No one is watching.

If your fingernail is touches the mirror (no gap), then you’re being watched. But hey, it’s not so bad. You can sue and make lots money.

I have found out that mirrors that have a painted back can be tricky (like bathroom vanity mirrors) but if it is flat against the wall this should work. If not dont worry, who cares?
