Many of you might know that I am the king of Tetris (perhaps at my school). I’ve beaten a whole bunch of people, including the webmaster of a site…repeatedly.
Anyway, on this one version of calculator tetris, if you manage to play hard enough and get a high enough score, you’ll break it. When I say “break,” I mean stop the pieces from falling down. You can still make it go down by pressing the down button, but if you don’t, the piece stays there. Contrary to popular belief, you cannot get a ridiculously high score when you break Tetrics because if you get the level 20, you’ll get a “divide by zero” error, and the calculator will crash.
Since I’ve only done this three times, I’m not sure how you can break Tetrics, but I’m guessing it has something to do with your current high score. The first time I did it, my high score was in the 100,000s. The score that I got when Tetrics froze was somewhere in the 200,000s. The second and third time I broke Tetrics, my highest high score was in the 200,000s. I got a score in the 400,000s to break it, so I’m guessing that you need to double your highest high score to stop the pieces from falling down.
