New Record for Sangent

I’ve been checking out my stats a lot lately, and according to statcounter, um, just yesterday, I got nearly 42,000 pageloads, and almost 10,000 unique visitors. Then, of course, everything came to a stop (sort of) because most kids are at home this week. I’m still getting quite a bit though…I’m guessing grown-ups are visiting my site from work. Did you know that NASA used to visit my site? 42 returning visits, too.

Anyway, because I’m getting so much, my bandwidth is going out of control. There are two solutions. I can buy a dedicated server (which costs at least $99/month). The only thing is that I need to make more money to recuperate the cost of a server. That means I need to be #1 on Google and other search engines when people search for a particular game or so. I’ve been trying to get that rank since my old site went down, but somehow, Google is refusing to rank me any higher. Heck, I’m not even number one when you search sang nguyen.

The other solution is to shut down Sangent officially. That means cancel my hosting.

Of course, I’ve chosen to the latter since I won’t have to spend loads of money every month.

Did you think I was serious. Of course, I’m not gonna shut down this site. Not for a long time. I do, however, need your support. Please give this site to everyone you know. Link to it if you have a site. Just do stuff to get out the word.
